Leah Solivan
Founder and former CEO of TaskRabbit
Leah Solivan is the Founder and former CEO of TaskRabbit, the pioneering platform that revolutionized the gig economy by connecting people with local freelancers for everyday tasks. Under her leadership, TaskRabbit expanded across major cities in the U.S. and internationally, redefining the way people think about work and productivity.
Leah’s inspiration for TaskRabbit came in 2008 when she ran out of dog food and realized there had to be a better way to connect neighbors willing to help with everyday errands. From that moment, she grew TaskRabbit into one of the most innovative startups of its time, eventually leading to its acquisition by IKEA in 2017.
